New: Stingray™ Services Controller ADC-as-a-Service Platform

Today at Interop in Las Vegas, we have introduced the latest member of the Stingray product family, Stingray Services Controller, a platform for ADC-as-a-service that can enable any cloud provider (public cloud, hosted or managed provider or enterprises rolling out private clouds) to deploy and manage a dynamic application delivery infrastructure.

Riverbed ADC-as-a-Service enabling technology:

  • Reduction in provisioning time: from weeks to immediate
  • 50% Savings: Elastic, right-sized ADCs
  • Better user experience: Per-app tuning, Multi-tenancy
  • Better security and performance: Isolation & scale

Introducing Stingray™ Services Controller

Stingray Services Controller provides automation tools to provision, deploy, license, meter, and manage the inventory of thousands of ADCs in an as-a-service model. The solution also enables a new consumption model for customers deploying ADC services, called the Stingray Traffic Manager “micro” instance. With the “micro” instance, ADC services can be elastically scaled on demand, and right-sized to suit each application, offering high density, full isolation, and multi-tenancy scaling.
