Can I run configuration commands from a script on the Vyatta

I've been googling for about half a day and I keep finding references to VyOS' ability to source a script-template and run configuration commands from a file.

I like the fact that I can "run show configuration commands" in context and generate the set instructions to recreate settings from one firewall to the next, but I don't trust cut&paste, I want to put them in a file and run them.

If there way to do this?

I have only seen references to a vyatta-cfg-cmd-wrapper that I'd have to put at the beginning of each line but that seems less that streamlined and I've read comments that say that it doesn't cover every command you could run from the interactive shell.

If anyone knows a better way please speak up.

Thanks in Advance.

Greg.

VyOS (community fork of Vyatta) or vRouter from Brocade?

Hi Sharan, Thanks for the reply.

I am using the Brocade Vyatta version 6.7R3.  I know about the script-template on VyOS and am dissapointed that it doesn't exist on the Brocade version.  I'm looking for something similar, for now I'm using cut and paste. :smileyfrustrated:
