CRN Recognizes Brocade leadership, data center innovation

Brocade has been recognized by CRN Magazine not once, but twice in the past few weeks.  First off, joining Gartner – who in their Data Center Networking Infrastructure Report recognized Brocade as a “visionary”, and commented that Brocade should be on any shortlist of vendors for enterprise data center and cloud deployments – CRN has listed Brocade in its Data Center 100.

The CRN Data Center 100 list “highlights technology vendors that are powering, supporting and protecting today’s data center. From innovative database software, to green data center technologies, to security and cloud data management services, this list covers it all. Selected by the CRN editorial staff after months of in-depth research, the 2013 Data Center 100 list recognizes vendors that have adopted new technologies and procedures over the course of 2012.” CRN went on to note; “the leading developer of storage networking gear, Brocade is also one of the few companies that can give Cisco a run for the money in data center Ethernet networking.”

While we like to let our solutions speak for themselves, it is great to see the recognition that Brocade Ethernet fabric is getting, in addition to the 950 or so customers who are already benefiting from having Brocade on their shortlists, and have already installed our Ethernet fabric technology.

But that’s not all. CRN has also recognized Regan McGrath, our VP Worldwide Channel Sales and Marketing. Regan has been named one of UBM Tech Channel’s CRN 2013 Channel Chiefs. This “prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.”


Brocade continues to be committed to our pledge to deliver solutions and programs that are designed to drive our channel partners’ revenues and support their businesses, but it is great to get recognition from such respected sources.
