ap7131 bricked

Hi guys.

At an installation, that I service, I've got a AP7131, that have entered a "bricked" state.

Only the red LED is blinking and it is not booting properly.

This output is produced on the console port when the AP is powered up. After the last line of output, no more output is generated:

"

BootOS Copyright (c) 2004-2012. All rights reserved.
boot image at 0x0..bad
boot image at 0x0..bad
trying boot image at 0x0

 "

So, I conclude that the bootrom or the firmware image somehow has gotten corrupted.

I'm hoping to fix the AP by uploading a new bootrom image by xmodem or similar. Has anybody got any experience with this?

Re: ap7131 bricked

Update:

I've found another AP at the same installation, that also is "bricked": Only red LED is blinking, but this AP outputs this on the console port when powered on (keeps repeating this output):

"

9fc00504
9fc00504
9fc00504
9fc00504
9fc00504

"

What's up here? I've been away for 2 weeks on vacation, everything running fine when I left, and now I got two defect APs out of an installation of 41 APs?....
