Guest Netowork for a school district

Hello All,

I would like to know if there is a way to setup a Guest SSID where the vendors can connect to and a splash screen pops up with Internet agreement with no password required. I have done this with Meraki but Brocade is new to me. Also, the connected users have not link to the internal network, only through the router/firewall. Basically just internet connection.

thank you,

Re: Guest Netowork for a school district

This sounds like something I would post.  Familliar with Cisco/Meraki, inherited Brocade and trying to make it work.  I haven't figured out how to create a splash page in Brocade Mobility yet, but we use an IP access list to keep guest users from accessing the local network.  It would look something like this:

ip access-list extended Guest_Wireless
permit udp any any eq dns
permit tcp any any eq dns
permit udp any any eq bootpc
permit udp any any eq bootps
permit udp any any eq isakmp
permit tcp any any eq http
permit tcp any any eq ssl
permit tcp any any eq 8443
permit tcp any any eq 9443
permit tcp any any eq 8120
permit ip any [Guest Subnet][Wildcard Mask]
deny ip any [Subnet of Entire Network][Subnet Mask]

Then it's applied to the VLAN interface with this:

ip access-group Guest_Wireless in

Hope this helps.  If you figure out splash pages, share the love.
