McData ECFM 1U server

I have MCData ECFM 1 U server with 2 NIC card s but only answers or only uses one to Manage the I10K Directors and Client sessions. You can ping 10.88.32.173 but the other NIC Card 10.88.32.102 does not respond to pings or client logins.\

EFCM is at 9.7.3 and the I10Ks are at 9.9.3. You can remote desktop using the 10.88.32.173 IP Address but not the other.

May I know ECFM requires 2 NIC card to configure ? What is the best practice for redundancy.

Thanks
