Login to switch EZmanager vs switchExplorer

Hi

I am new to SAN switch world. I am trying to access switch over SSH tunnel.

I am facing an issue that when I open localhost:port/EZmanager.html it ask for password and does not accept "question mark"  (?) character in the password where as when I open same with switchExplorer.html it works fine i.e. localhost:port/switchExplorer.html

I checked documentation which no where says that char "?" cannot be used as password. Also, it works fine with ssh.

Any help in clariying what is the difference in these pages especially with respect to authentication.

Thanks

Re: Login to switch EZmanager vs switchExplorer

There should be no difference as ther's one password database.

Perhaps you've run into a bug in ezmanager.

Does ezmanager work if you change your pwd into sometrhing without ? etc?

Re: Login to switch EZmanager vs switchExplorer

I tried creating another user, if I type "?" in the password filed it does not accept.

when I try accessing it as http://switch-ip , it opens ezmanager.html as default and does not accept question mark in the password field.

when I try accessing it as http://switch-ip/switchExplorer.html it works fine !

thanks

Bharat
