We have an issue with DCFM v10.4.2 hammering the CPU on our system, its a virtual server with now two vcpus and 4gb RAM, but it still averages both CPUs at about 70% with it regualrly flat lining at 100% throughout the day and night.
Has anyone else seen this high usage and been able to resolve somehow?
It seems to have got a lot worse since we updated from 10.4.1 to 10.4.2
Hope someone can provide some guidance, its currently the highest consumer of CPU in our virtual farm!

When you ran 10.4.1 did you ever get the error I posted recently ?.
We are currently running 10.4.1 within a VM, 2 CPU's, 4GB RAM, no real problem with performance when it is running. Not that this probably helps you !!.

We have managed to isolate the feature which is causing this, its the vmware integration part, as soon as i removed the entries for the two virtual centers the CPU dropped down to normal usage. We have lost the function of the SAN Fabric Views in Vcenter now though
This was suggested by HDS, after i raised a support query with them. They are still looking into the issue, but looks like a buggy version 1 feature.

This is really strange. I am actually running DCFM 10.4.2 on Linux, and was just checking to see if there was a newer version (partly because I run EMC's version CMDCE on Windows and have 10.4.3). EMC does not provide or support the Linux version so I didn't get it from them.
No 10.4.2 on Brocade's site anymore....no indication that it was ever there or why it's gone.
I did find it on HP's web site:
If the link doesn't work you can probably just search like I did. They have the Windows version also.
