Re: BNA API: Fabric name appears only on primary switch

Hi,

when I check REST API docs, the examples there only lists the fabric name for the principal switch. mm, What version of BNA and FOS are you using? I assume that you see the fabric name in all switchshow output as well in the fabricshow ?

Re: BNA API: Fabric name appears only on primary switch

Hi Nordin,

I justed tested with 14.3.0 and 8.x, and when I run the query

http://<ip_address>/rest/resourcegroups/All/fcfabrics/

I get the list of fabrics, as represented by their principal switches and with fabric name listed (set by CLI: fabricname).

When I then take one fabric, e.g.

http://<ip address>/rest/resourcegroups/All/fcfabrics/10:00:00:27:F8:4E:FC:C7/

I get the information for this fabric, and it principal list. When I list all switches in this fabric with

 http://<ip address>//rest/resourcegroups/All/fcfabrics/10:00:00:27:F8:4E:FC:C7/fcswitches

I am not getting any fabricname information. Fabric name seems to be tied to the fabric (represented by the principal switch).

And not on the individual switches in the fabric.
