Application recognition using Brocade Network Advisor

I came across Flow vision in Network Advisor. The Flow Monitor feature does provide metrics after creating a flow definition.

Wanted to check if there is any network based application recognition support in Network advisor through which it gives me application details as well which are creating traffic.

Re: Application recognition using Brocade Network Advisor

Users have the option to name a flow using the application name based on the host. This is a manual process and is not based on any automated application recognition capabilities in BNA.

Re: Application recognition using Brocade Network Advisor

Agreed, the best use case for manually assigning a name to the flow will be for scenarios a host is dedicated to running a specific application, i.e., Exhange, Oracle, etc...
