Brocade DCX 8510-4, FOS 7.3.1c
We are in the Initial configuration Process of Brocade. We manually configured FC Ports and also we renamed it to the Appropriate Naming convention.
Once we are done with the configuration, we were able to see the PortName in both BNA (Brocade Network Advisor) Port connectivity view and through the switch directly.
After sometime, we applied FICONCUP License, and enabled FMS Mode. Soon after that, we are not able to see the portname both in BNA (Brocade Network Advisor) and in the switch as well.
Could someone pls shed some light on this to help us to understand, how the portname got missed after enabling the FMS Mode.

Thanks for checking. I found the below documentation in Brocade that says FOS 7.3.1c is ficon certified along with 7.3.0b and 7.3.1b.
Also, the below IBM link also provided the same details about fos 7.3.1c

you are correct, but 7.3.1c accordly the FOS target path is listed as qualified but not as Certified FICON release, where 7.3.1b is Certified.
Additional I found a note in FOS 7.4.0a, in a case is applicable in you environments
The new supported features and functions in this release are:
have you MAPS configured ?
can you tell me exact BNA Release you have running ? is IBM NA Image or Brocade NA Image ?

NA is from Brocade and the version is 12.3.3 build 19. MAPS is not enabled. I suspect the issue is with the director itself. PORTNAME is not displayed even in PORTSHOW command.

Name assigned to the port by the portName command. On standalone platforms,
the default port name is the port number, for example, "port5".
On enterprise-class platforms, the default port name is a combination of the slot number and the port
number, for example, "slot1port5".

As Mani said previously, we manually updated all the portname with the new names.
Even configshow -all has all the portnames in it.
Snippet from Configshow
But when I do the display of the port, we are not seeing the portname at all.

Looking at defect #592079 listed and fixed into FOS 7.4.1c (see release note of FOS 7.4.1c).
This can match with your issue seen.
