supportsave can't put data to FTP server?

Dear Gurus,

FOS version: v5.0.1b

FTP home directory: /home/ftpuser

Yesterday, I was trying to get the SW200E supportsave data for a backup. But I got below error messages:

==========================

SW200E02:admin> supportsave
This command will collect RASLOG, TRACE, supportShow and other support information and then transfer  them to a FTP server. This operation can take several minutes.
NOTE: supportSave will transfer existing trace dump file first, then automatically generate and transfer latest one. There will be two trace dump files transfered after this command.
Host IP: 10.194.50.8
User Name: ftpuser
Password:
Remote Directory: /home/ftpuser/                                    <<<<<  I'm not sure what shall I input here.

Saving support information for module RASLOG...
ncftpput: Could not change to directory /home/ftpuser/: server said: CWD: Operation not permitted.

The operation has been aborted
Please fix the FTP problem and issue supportSave again
SW200E02:admin>

==========================

But I can upload the configuration without any problem. That means my FTP server is OK.

===================================

Server Name or IP Address : 10.194.50.8
User Name : ftpuser
File Name : config_SW200E_02_5.0.1b.txt

Upload complete

Any feedback would very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

David Feng

Re: supportsave can't put data to FTP server?

try . instead of /home/ftpuser - i mean just a simple little dot - it should mean "stay in the current directory"

hope this helps
