how to make pen drive for update fabric os

I lost the USB official brocade, have another pendrive of 2gb, but I've tried several times keeping the same structure as the official pendrive, but even so the pendrive is not mounted on the switch.

Name of the stick: Brocade

Structure: brocade / firmware / v.xx.xx

Type of format: fat32

Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

As far as I know, any USB stick will not work. You have to have the one that is black and thin and reads BROCADE on one of the sides. If you have anything else like Kingston, Transcend etc... - they will not be accepted by the switches, whatever you do to them.

If anyone else has a receipt how to make other USB sticks get recognized, you are very welcome to share!

Hi Francisco!

I'm moving your discussion thread to the Data Center SAN community so that way you will be able to get more responses. The Community Info & Feedback community is for general questions and suggestions about Brocade Communities and not for product-related questions.

Hope this helps!
