Re: collect supportsave on CLI

It depends only from your infrastructure and security policy.

Usually, local file resource (server), with ftp, sftp, scp transfer proto.

Thanks Pavel. We dont have any FTP server internally. Did you tried to copy the files to local system/laptop  using  SCP protocol.

Usage:  supportSave [-n] [-c] [-k] [-u user_name
                -p password -h host_name -d remote_dir -l protocol]

Yes, sure. It would be easy.

For example:

supportsave -u "laptop's user with write grant" -p "user's password" -h "usually use native ip-adress" -d "path to your directory like \home\tmp" -l scp

UPD. Upper scenario easy and friendly for unix-based OS.

If you have MS Windows, it is a bit dancing with a tambourine. :) It will be easy set up IIS and configure ftp server on you local system.

Re: collect supportsave on CLI

To transfer to your Windows using FTP, you may try: http://www.sentex.net/~mwandel/ftpdmin/

Simple and straight forward.

To transfer to your Windows using SCP, you may try: http://www.mls-software.com/opensshd.html

Not really straight forward, some configurations are required.
