cannot access webtools

Hi there,

I'm having issues opening up the webtools on my switch (brocade 5000)

Fabric OS:  v6.4.3

everytime I try to go to my switch on my browser, it loads the /EZManager.html and immediately opens up another tab to http://jdl.sun.com/webapps/getjava/BrowserRedirect?locale=en&host=java.com

At this point it loads forever and does nothing. I also downloaded DCFM and started up the server tools (see the screenshot)

I also installed java v6 with update 45 and still the same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

Re: cannot access webtools

Hi,

to switch off EZswitchsetup, follow the below as admin:

switch:admin> configure
Not all options will be available on an enabled switch.
To disable the switch, use the "switchDisable" command.
Configure...
System services (yes, y, no, n): [no]
ssl attributes (yes, y, no, n): [no]
rpcd attributes (yes, y, no, n): [no]
webtools attributes (yes, y, no, n): [no] y

...

Web Tools attributes are displayed.

...

Basic User Enabled (yes, y, no, n): [yes] no #########

Type yes or y for the Basic User Enabled attribute to make the EZSwitchSetup Switch Manager
start by default from your browser rather than Web Tools, as in the following example.

If no or n is specified, Web Tools is launched. Note that no is the default value.
