can I use core PID format when use 48-port blade with DCX or 48000

When I use 48-port blade with 48000 or DCX, the area id of ports in 48-port blade will not be unique, if we use CORE PID format, the 2nd 8 bit of PID (0x01xx00) will can not cover port 32-47(because area id of these ports will beyond 255 ), then what PID format can we used in this environment? thank you!

Hi liuchuanwen,

Core PID is the only format supported in this case. While Area byte won't be unique the difference is in Port/ALPA byte: 0x00XX00 vs 0x00XX80

Hope this helps,
