bad zone config

Hi,

i have two FC Switches IBM 2005-B16, Three IBM Blade FC Switch 28R883 (4GB Qlogic) and one IBM Blade FC Switch 26k6479 (2GB Qlogic).

Both IBM 2005-B16 (Brocade) FC Switches have FW 6.2.2b and all Blade (Qlogic) FC Switches have FW 5.5.2.10

LAst week we updated the FW of all Switches from Brocade 5.0.x and Qlogic 5.5.2.5

Now we have the problem that we get error "Zoning transaction aborted - Bad Zone Config" if we try to save zoning config on a brocade switch. Saving from Qlogic Switch seems to be working fine.

ISL between Qlogic and Brocade Switch are working fine.

How i can resolve the "bad zone config" message? Is the DCFM a solution?

Thank for advice

Regards

Dirk

Re: bad zone config

--->>> FW of all Switches from Brocade 5.0.x.....

upgrade to FOS Rel. ?

Higher FOS Release are not longer supported with QLogic Firmware.

What you are meaning with "Higher FOS Release are not longer supported with QLogic Firmware"? I cant use anymore Qlogic and Brocade FC Switches in one fabric?

Re: bad zone config

QLogic FW is supported by Brocade FOS only till Rel. 5.x

6.x not longer support QLogic.

Re: bad zone config

re-cofigure the config b/w the switches (re-merge the config b/w the switches)
