Where can I find error message reference regards to BL-5262 and BL-5215 ?

Hello Expert,

I cannot find any information in latest error message reference guide.

Could you provide me some information ? with possible caused and recommendation actions ?

I would suggest to open a Call with Brocade or they Vendor / OEM

Absolutely, you are here on right place, and yes, this is a discussions Community, and as you can see, the goal this Community is to help everyone.

However, some error are internal error and not documented, or better to say, this error are unknown to me.

This is the reason why I suggest to open a Call with Support.

TechHelp24 is correct.  But beyond that, if solutions or recommended action cannot be identified with Hewlett Packard... as always... HP support can escalate into Brocade support via predefined paths.

Hi there,

As TechHelp24 said, those are internal events and are any documentation is internal to Brocade. In any case, those events are related to ASIC errors. Depending on the model of the switch, the rate of reappearance, the FOS version, etc. you may need to powercycle the blade/switch and/or replace it.

Since the manipulation of hardware elements may be required, the best option would be to engage you service provider if the switch is under an active maintenance contract. If that is not the case, paste the errors and we'll try to advice on what to do.
