What is the best way to replace a port blade on DCX?

The port blade that I need to remove is part of multiple logical switches. This is a production director. Can we simply remove the blades without worrying about the 'logical switch' configuration or we have to manually change some configuration and free those ports/move them to the default switch?

Overall, can this be done non-disruptively to the other blades?

Thanks in advance,

Jai

Alright folks. I found the answer. It's just a standard procedure. Move the ports from the LS to the default switch and follow the blade replacement procedure. No need to disable the VF feature.

Does anyone has any document to compare the Virtual Fabrics with Cisco's VSANs?
