Upgrading a 5470

Hello everyone.

We are planning to upgrade a some 5470 switches from version 7.0.2d to the 7.2.0d version.

We don´t see the firmware version for thos switches. We are wondering if we can use the same firmware version from one 5300, we see that they are compatibles. Do any one has done this upgrade before.

Regards

Re: Upgrading a 5470

Hi,

the FOS version is compatible, yes.

To my knowledge the latest OEM supported version for the 5470 is 7.1.2b.

 Hi ,

FOS 7.2.x supports this two platforms 5300 and 5470 . Access Gateway mode is also supported for 5470.

You can found the Fos version on  myBrocade ->Software download -> Fabric Operating System (FOS) 7.X

Regards

Jerome
