Does anyone know if there are port restrictions for ISL trunking on the DCX8510 directors? I'm using ports 22 and 23 on one blade and trunking is not working. Also, is the trunking license one of the default licenses on a Brocade 5100?

nope trunking is usualy not a standard license
just issue the command licenseshow on your 5100 switch and see if there is something with trunking in the output, if not then you found the reason for the ports not forming a trunk
otherwise troublshooting is needed, but lets check if the license is applied to your 5100 switch, also the director should have it
