SW 24000/48000 blades compatibility?

Is it possible to install SW48000 32-ports 4 Gbps blades into existing SW24000 director? It is mentioned in old SW24000 datasheet that it supports 4 Gbps blades, but now I cannot find any confirmations. All traces of SW24000 on brocade.com and brocadeconnect.com are eliminated.

Hi Evgeny Lotosh,Theoretically, but not sure, you can install 32 Port Blade by the 24000, but only 16 Port will be actived, because the CP2 ( also 24000 Control Processor ) supported 2 GB. Also not make any sense.

That's very, very bad. It seems we have no other choice but to use 16-ports blades. Or think about something more modern...<!graemlin::)>
