SAN switch 5100 is indicating a firmware download is in-process...

I have a SAN switch 5100 running FOS v6.3.1a. I was in the process of starting a firmware download via the Web Tools when the FTP server that was set up failed to connect and validate the firmware path.

The session entries indicated that firmware download had started.. then a minute or two showed that it had failed.

I have corrected the FTP server problem and when I start the firmware download again via CLI (SSH) this shows the firmware download operation is still in-process.

How can I clear this condition to continue with updating the FOS?

This switch is part of a redundant A/B fabric and is in production...

Regards,

Louis

Normally the process should just timeout and you can start again. If that isn't the case and you're not able to bounce the box I'd suggest you contact your support-vendor. I wouldn't muck around with if this one is critical.
