Hi,-&gt;&gt;&gt; Extended Fabris option allows switches to communicate....<BR><BR>yes is correct, you can use here LWL SFP to connect both SAN w/o Extended Fabric License, this is allowed to 10 KM = +/- ~16 Miles.<BR><BR>-&gt;&gt;&gt; Do all switches in such a SAN need Remote Switch option to be activated?For information on these features, see the Fabric OS Administrator’s Guide.

Hi Evgeniy,i am not sure you can use this SFP into AP7420, but surely into 7500 whit Extended Fabric Option.
