Recover lost SilkWord 200E ip address

Hi all,

I've a couple of SilkWork dismitted from a customer. I'm not able to access then using a serial cable (I do not have a proper serial cable maybe, and I'm using a CISCO serial cable) and also I do not have IP address of network interface.

I've tried to connect switch using a crossover cable to my PC and with 'arp -s' command I've given a static ip address to switch mac address but I'm still not able to reach it.

There's a way to recover this situation?

Thanks

Stefano

stefano,

test with another serial cable, and make sure you have correct parameters set

Bits per second - 9600
Databits - 8
Parity - None
Stop bits - 1
Flow control - None
