I have a problem with the connection Brocade 8Gb/24c SAN Switch to an existing FC Fabric. When I connect the SAN Brocade 8Gb / 24c switch to the SanBOX 5602 FC switch, the following errors occur:
Errors on SanBOX:
[Sat Aug 19 13:48:15.505 EEST 2017][A][1003.003C][Port: 6][Incompatible Zoning mode, Isolating link]
[Sat Aug 19 13:48:15.516 EEST 2017][A][1003.002F][Port: 6][Interop Zoning Not Supported by remote switch]
[Sat Aug 19 13:48:15.519 EEST 2017][A][1004.000F][Port: 6][Eport Isolating due to Merge Zone Failure]
Errors on Brocade:
port 17, Mode incompatible4.
Our FC Fabric scheme in attachment.
Notes on the scheme:
We have two optical circuits. The first is connected through a SanBOX 5602 FC switch. 2nd through the HP StorageWorks 8/20q FC Switch
Brocade 8Gb / 24c SAN Switch (firmware version 7.4.1e) - new (clean configuration) blade switches that are going to be connected to the existing FC Fabric.
HP B-series 8 / 12c switch (firmware version 6.4.3f) is an old blade switch that is already connected to the existing FC Fabric.

donwgrade from 7.4 to 6.4 is NOT !!! easy, an dyou get a risk to corrupted the switch.
connect to 8/12 is a option, but from you design the 8/24 would not have access to Storage/LUN's because this are connected to SANbox, unless you can access from /24 via /12 to the LUN's ????

I disable SanBox and connect 8Gb/24c to 8/12c. Which interoperability mode chose on 8/12c?
8/12c have 3 options interoperability mode:
Brocade Native Fabric Mode
McDATA Fabric Mode
McDATA Open Fabric Mode

brocade native mode is IM0
see this Solution guide how you can migrate a config.
