Problem with replace SFP in 4100. In two diferentes switches.

I hope get me your help.

A few days ago,  was necessary to replace 3 "SFP" in 2 Swicth 4100.
When  put the SFP's new, in  the GUI,  these are disabled.
After run Supportshow command on both switch, the port register  the following estatus:

port 21: Can not get serial data.

We again replace the SFP for the same part number and the result is the same in both switch.

We apply enabled command but this not change.

There any similar problem or sugestion

Re: Problem with replace SFP in 4100. In two diferentes switches.

Hi know i similary Error from a Old FOS 5.x when the Port was set as E_Port

Try please follow, check with "portshow" the current port state, set the port as disable "portdisable" and try "portcfgeport" now, wait a couple of minute and set the port enable now with "portenable"

make sure the port is not set as persistent disable.

what happened ?

Create a screenshot before you try the port comamnd and after, post please both screenshot from this Port switch/GUI here.
