Problem with GigE ports on 7500E

I have just installed two Brocade 7500E devices and used Cisco SFPs in ge0 and ge1.  I cannot get these to come online even though the 7500E shows them as enabled.

The are showing no light on the SFPs at all.  Any ideas?

Re: Problem with GigE ports on 7500E

Cisco SFP are not supported by Brocade, you must replaced the SFP.

I am having the same problem but using different SFP's, where can I find out what is supported. I tried reseating them and a reboot of the router, but not able to bring them online

Re: Problem with GigE ports on 7500E

Jcascanette,

you Use here

--->>>admin> sfpshow ge1

........

Trunkated

.........

--->>>Wave Length    1310

1310, are LX SFP, Such SFP are supported, but  assume you have set the Port vale wrong.

Testing with another Standard SX Shortwave 850 SFP

and making sure the port is Enabled.

Post the "switchshow" output here please.
