Port status change

I got the SAN Fabric upgraded to FOS 6.4.0c, i am facing too many false port status change incidents for the ports whose status are no-light / disabled / trunk ports and for few ports which has host connected.

wht could be the issue..??

Its depend on your license, if its applied successsful then you need to right click on port (GUI) make it enable....simple! If you like CLI just update me!

all the required license, best practice configuration and setting are in place. getting SCN (state change notification) SNMP alerts on the ports whose status are No_Light and Disabled.

Disable it persistently and check if you still get alerts.

portcfgpersistentdiable <port number>
