I am trying to change the password for admin in Brocade ds-300 switch but below message I am getting.
"Cannot manage the target account due to conflicting AD permissions"
The ID, with I am trying to change the password having admin role.

Thanks TechHelp24 for reply. I don't have admin password to login as admin. I am trying to reset the password with the ID which having admin rights. Is there any other way to reset the password of admin.

Hi , everybody especially to TechHelp24 could you send me the brocade 300 procedure to recover my password? I have the same problem as the post, so i need some help , and i dont want to lose the fabric configuration , its an inherited scenario. THANKSSSSSSSS

password recovery don't lose the config, but you have temporary lost of connectivity because the switch must be rebooted.

Following messages "Cannot manage the target account due to conflicting AD permissions" means, that your account and admin account have different lists of AD's entries. You must lead them to the same state, if you want to perform this from your account.
About perform "passworddefault" command by root account. You must understand, that all your non-factory accounts would be deleted by this operation. And you'll need some labour intensive work after this operation. But all configuration continue working.
