Need Procedure ISL broc 7x to Cisco 3x Native mode

Fos 7 no longer has interopmode.

I am looking for the proper configuration needed to ISL a B6505 v7.0.1 to a Cisco 9216 running 3.3.5b.

Please keep in mind that most all the existing documentation refers to brocade fos <= 6x. We are running 7x.

Is it possible to just set the (Cisco vsan to interopmode 3) which would require the Brocade to be pidformat=1 & interopmode=0?

Re: Need Procedure ISL broc 7x to Cisco 3x Native mode

Native interop has never been offered or supported by Brocade when connecting to Cisco.  Yes, I know they support this configuration, but you would need to get this from them.  NPIV/NPV is your only option from a Brocade perspective connecting into a Cisco SAN or vise versa.

Here is the NPIV section from the FOS Admin Guide 7.x:

Hi Mark,

"Is it possible to just set the (Cisco vsan to interopmode 3) which would require the Brocade to be pidformat=1 & interopmode=0?"

I think this will work, but you will get no support.
