i would get you zoning data over to your new switch somehow and start moving the connections, either during a big shutdown of everything or host by host and device by device.

Well, i was thinking of ISLing the 2 Directors together, which would join the new 48k to the existing fabric, then start the moves...Figured since i am zoned wwn, it shouldn't be a problem...Steph

just be careful that your 48k does not have any zone config previously on it. clear it out if it does.it'd be a good idea to reconcile the domain id's beforehand too, otherwise your fabric will segment when you join the two directors if they're both set to 1.
