McData EOS B2B troubleshooting

Hi,

We are still having a mixed fabric with brocade and mcdata switches.

Our mcdata switches are the oldest and are also functioning as core switches for our ISL's.

Is there a command like the brocade "bottleneckmon" were I can monitor eventuel B2B problems?

What is the name of the brocade "Extended Fabric" license when talking about McData?

Kind regards,

Joeri

Re: McData EOS B2B troubleshooting

Bottleneckmon or equivalent command is "AFAIK" not available on McDATA Plattforms.

Intrepid 6064 , 6140 and i10K, can be populated with XPM Blade.

Re: McData EOS B2B troubleshooting

Thx for the fast reply!

How can I troubleshoot B2B problems on the ISLs on the Core McData switches?

Which values do I need to take a look at?

Re: McData EOS B2B troubleshooting

as mentioned, such command like Bottleneckmon in McDATA Plattforms are unknown to me.

Some defect "AFAIK" , as be closed in new EOS release, you should check in Release Notes depend EOS Level is running.

Re: McData EOS B2B troubleshooting

I will migrate all McData switches to one fabric and all brocade switches to the other fabric. So I will have one fabric which will be running FOS and this will allow me to perform in-depth troubleshooting.

Thanks for all your help!

kind regards,

Joeri
