M-EOSc or M-EOSn for McData 6140?

How do I know which of the two M-EOS distributions is the right one for my switches? I want to upgrade to the latest M-EOS on all my older McData switches: six 6140s, four 4700s and two 4500s, but I don't know whether to use the M-EOSc or M-EOSn version. The release notes seem to contain the same models in the compatibility matrices. The latest M-EOSc version is 9.9.9 and the latest M-EOSn is version 9.9.8. Four of my 6140s are at version 9.7.2 and the remaining McData switches are all at 9.6.2. All the my McDatas are ISL'd together and also to Brocade 48000s and 5100s.
