Java applet won't start after 3900 firmware downgrade (4.4.0b -> 4.2.0b)

We decided to downgrade 3900 firmware from 4.4.0b back to 4.2.0b due to severe problems with the firmware. After the downgrade we encountered a problem with web tools: the Java applet won't start and there's no image of the switch. That means that I can't use the applications which are accessible through the Java applet (Events, Fabric Watch, Admin etc.) We have other 3900 switches on the same fabric and their Java applets work fine so there is no problem with the host's Java version. Reboot or cold boot has no effect. Otherwise the switch is working fine.

Could it be that something is cached in your browser for that switch? Let us know if this fixes it.
