In zone admin I can see only local switch

Hi All,

I have 2 new Brocade 300 and I connected them each other.  I have whole required licences:

Fabric license
Fabric Watch license
Full Ports on Demand license - additional 16 port upgrade license
Enhanced Group Management license
8 Gig FC license

The switches have the same FOS 7.4.

The switches can see each other and in the Switch View I can see two switches under one Fabric.

The problem is that when I open the Zone Admin I can see ports only from local switch.

Please advise steps to see in Zone admin two swiches?

Best regards

Konrad

Re: In zone admin I can see only local switch

since you have create a Fabric trough ISL, you see only one config.

But I'm not sure what you mean with "I can see ports only from local switch"

can you please explain a bit more ?

Re: In zone admin I can see only local switch

So,

When I open Zone Admin I have somethink like attachment.

In older configuration Brocade 300 + 200 in lower FOS I have posibility to choose in Zone Admin port or WWN from two switches. I have available them through Domain.ID.Port

So it's looks like:

1,0

1,1

1,2

...

...

2,0

2,1

...

Create zoning is then very simple and fast.

That's normal and Brocade's "friendly" reminder that there is a free version of BNA that helps you with that. Wasn't there even an advertizing in WebTools that this function went to BNA? So you have 3 possibilities:

- do it via CLI

- install BNA

- I think it should also work if you just create aliases on each switch and then zone the aliases (cannot check at the very moment)
