Re: How to downgrade the FOS version from 6.2.x to 6.x

Greetings kmkece.  This is a well covered topic on the Brocade Community forums.  So please start with a quick search as many tips and guidance have been provided and shared from one another in the same situation.  From there, on page 21 of the FOS 6.3.0 Release Notes you can refer to the section entitled "Firmware Upgrades and Downgrades".  You will find a summarized list of consideration for downgrading.  Finally, if you are still uncertain, please specify  your concerns/questions and we'll all be happy to help.

Re: How to downgrade the FOS version from 6.2.x  to 6.x

here are some details,

admitted, not refer downgrade to FOS 6.0 , but the procedure is very simple.

I'll provide when i find a time to upgrade the DOC.

like as Upgrade, you need to start "firmwaredownload" with a minor release

i would suggest you made the Upgrade from current 6.2. to 6.1 and in second step to 6.0

more details about firmwaredowngrade are explained in FOS Release Notes

before, you should made a config backup.
