HBA with LongWave SFP+ ?

Hello,

is it possible to plug a 8Gb Long Wave 10km FC SFP+ into a Brocade HBA and if yes, is it supportet from OEM vendors?
We have a customer who wants to connect a single server in a distance of approx. 1000 meters. Since it's a single server, he wouldn't like to by two switches for one single server (dual fabric configuration). And since switch partitioning is supportet only from the 8/40 and above, the HBA with Ling Wave SFP would be the easiest solution.
With best regards

Your vendor will be the best person , who can answer this question. I think this is not possible in case of HBA. And LWL 8Gbps SFP needs SMF to be connected.
