Failed to mount a root file system!

While rebooting a 3900 the kernal failed to load and we received these errors.

in most case is this error caused by firmware download by interrupted or power down, if this the case you have a big problem. otherview, test follow: connect trough serial cable, reboot the switch by the follow message press ESC Key; select 3; siehe below.good luck

if the /etc/hosts file is corrupt on both partitions, booting from the other partition will not help. Talk to your support provider, your /etc/hosts file needs to be rebuilt.
