Fabric code upgrade recommendation

Hi,

we are planning our production  fabric code upgrade soon from 6.1.0h to 6.2.2b on even and odd side.

two options: option 1:upgrade the code both sides of fabric all at once.

option 2: upgrade code on one side first and look at the fabric behavior for a day or two and upgrade the next later.

Which option do you recommend/suggest and safer to do ? much appreciate your valid answers on this.

Thanks

Re: Fabric code upgrade recommendation

i would go with upgrade one fabric on day1 and watch for any issues and then upgrade fabric2 the next day

Re: Fabric code upgrade recommendation

Thanks for the reply and want to make sure on your answer,

running half of the fabric paths with 6.1.0h and half of the fabric paths with 6.2.2b for a day to  two will not cause any issues ? Just making sure one more time..:)

Re: Fabric code upgrade recommendation

Our best practice for sensitive environments is to upgrade one fabric on one weekend, leave it for one week to confirm the new FOS is stable with all workloads and then upgrade redundant fabric on next weekend.
