FIFO overflow Errors

We just finished configuring our 7800 switch, when I noticed that we have FIFO overflow errors, and we aren't even sending replication data yet.  This would all be from broadcasts, so I'm wondering how bad it will be when we start sending data.  Is there any way to figure out what is causing these errors or mitigate them somehow?

This is after only about 20 minutes of being up.  Anyone with any ideas, I would be grateful.  Thanks!

Re: FIFO overflow Errors

Ge fifo overflow drops are actually MAC filtering drops when it receives unicast MAC address frames not meant for it to arrive, the Blaster chip filters it out and drops. Unfortunately name of the register/counter is misleading.

Check if other traffic is in any way directed to these IP addresses in any way. This should not happen.
