Re: FDS port block 1st

Hi,

What is connected to those two ports, 242 and 243? is the same device?

Those events report that the ASIC (S12/C0 in this case) is receiving frames on ports 242 and 243 without having allocated a Receive Buffer to it, because the sender of the frames is sending them when are no free BB credits.

A priori, you should review the device (or devices) connected to those ports because it seems to be misbehaving.

Rgds,

Re: FDS port block 1st

In response to your queries:

fillword is a primitive used in FC to maintain the line synch'. It also is used during Link initialization to stablish the AC state. The above error has nothing to do with fillword.
