I have a local fabric that ISL's between buildings at less than 500 meters using LW SFP's.
The remote server room is being moved to a remote facility, now some miles away. The estimated fabric distance is about 100km.
The distance solution is CIENA (CN4200).
The question is, I assume I will need Extended Fabric license? (yes / no??)
If at a later date, we decide to once again, re-use the local server room with new Brocade switches (connectivity via single-mode, LW SFP's), will they now require an Extended Fabric license as well, since the Principal switch has this?

How about the 2nd question...
If all the switches in the fabric have an extended fabric license, and we add a new brocade in a local server room, which would normally be a standard ISL, does the new switch now require an extended fabric license as well?
