DCX SNMP Problem

I have multiple Brocade DCX switchess; I am having problems with the snmp process. We use Solar winds to pull snmp queries; the trapping process we are not using at this time. For some reason I am not aware of the switches stop allowing solar winds to pull snmp queries. I have tried resetting the snmp configurations back to default (using snmpconfig --set snmpv3 --default) reconfiguring it; also verified the port configurations using ipfilter. For some reason I cannot get these switches to query. Does anyone have any other option I may try of other commands to geive me a look into what is causing the problems.

Thanks in Advance

Re: DCX SNMP Problem

Hi,

You can try to use snmpv1 queries, at least to see if these ones work.

On the other hand, you could try to use snmpwalk tool to see if it also fails.

What credentials are you using? maybe you need to tune the snmp user settings.
