I have an ISL link between two switches. This trunk has two ports. A couple of days ago the Master port change from one port to the other.
Now the DCFM shows the link between the two swithces in yellow (Alarm). How can I acknowledge the alarm or change the condition to normal?

Open a CLI session to both switches which are trunked. Run the command 'islshow' and report what the state of the ISLs are between the two. Run 'trunkshow -perf' and evaluate the traffic flow between the trunk members. Then run 'trunkdebug <port 1, port 2>' where the port 1 and port 2 are the ports which are members of the trunk that are failing(if you FOS supports this command). Example;
dcx_8510:admin>trunkdebug 4, 5
port 4 trunking is not enabled
port 5 trunking is not enabled
Record the output of the command. It will advise you of the issue with the ports not forming a trunk. If the information is not useful, start with the layer one and check for crc, bad eof, lync fail, lost of sync, etc' or other link errors by using; 'porterrshow' command. Clear the stats with 'statsclear' and 'slotstatsclear', then check again in 24 hours.
