Connecting a Silkworm 5100 to an EMC CX3-80

I attempted to connect two EMC CX3-80 Controller ports to a brocade Silkworm 5100 FOS v6.1.0c this weekend, and it all went horribley wrong.  Read through a Brocade and EMC Compatibility Matrices, its seems that they are not able to be connected to each other.

EMC CX3-80 Flare Code 3.28.10

Brocade Silkworm 5100 FOS v6.1.0c

The documents I have read are a year or so out of date , so I would like some clarification on this if anyone knows!!

Brocade 300, 5100, 5300 and DCX not support CX3-80 or viceverse, the CX3-80 is not supported in the as mentioned listed Switches.

BTW, by some other switches, only firmware 3.22.x.x is tested and approved.
