Configure options (set local switch parameters) for FOS 7.2

Is there documentation anywhere that describes each option for the configure tool  (ie switchdisable, configure (set local switch parameters) to change settings?  I noticed there are some differences when I do a configshow on a switch running 7.0 and a switch running 7.2.

Thanks in advance

Re: Configure options (set local switch parameters) for FOS 7.2

hmm configshow shows a lot of output.

Some need to be identicall on all switches like

fabric.ops.E_D_TOV
fabric.ops.R_A_TOV

Some are ment to be different like the DID.

Can you post an overview of the differences you are concerned about?

Hi storagejsg,

some of them are documented in the FOS Command Reference guide under configure:

Re: Configure options (set local switch parameters) for FOS 7.2

My vendor is telling me I should be able to set the following settings:

ssl attributes (yes, y, no, n): [no] yes
Certificate File. (filename or none): [10.33.13.182.crt] 192.1.2.3.crt
CA Certificate File. (filename or none): [none]
        Select length of crypto key.
(Valid values are 40, 56, and 128.): (40..128) [128]
http attributes (yes, y, no, n): [no] yes
HTTP Enabled (yes, y, no, n): [yes] no
Secure HTTP Enabled (yes, y, no, n): [no] yes

However I do not see the http attribute fields in 7.2.

Thanks,

Hi, if the switch is in FIPS mode there's only https.

You can also block port 80 by setting up an ipfilter.
