Hi All,

When i trying to reset password for another user, the below error came in Brocade 5100.

then i tried to change permission for 1-128 <LF_ID list> and i could see the below error.

Please suggest how can i set admin role for 1-128 LF list with single shot?

Re: Cannot manage the target account due to conflicting VF/Chassis permissions-during password reset

You cannot include LF's which do not exist. When you issue "1-128" I'm pretty sure there are at least 120 LF that do no exist. :-)

So in one shot make sure that you have an overview of existing logical switches so for instance:

Existing LS  : 128 3 4 5 16 19

You could use

userconfig --change xxxxx -l 128,3-5,16,19 -r admin

Let me know if this helps.

Cheers

Erwin
