Re: Brocade configdownload command fails with ** root.access: error

Hi Sanjeev,

you are on 8.0.x, exactly which version, please?

From which version is your config.txt file?

Can you check if you have a root.access field in the config file without an value

grep root.access config.txt

if yes, ensure that the value is none, all or consoleonly by editing the file (for example)

root.access:all

Or try to run rootaccess to legal value before running configuploaded and download again

Re: Brocade configdownload command fails with ** root.access: error

Hi Martin,

First of all Thank you for your quick response.

The switch firmware version is v8.1.0b

The config file is of same version as above

Yes the root.access field was empty as mentioned here:

passwdcfg.warning:0
root.access:
snmp.64mibCap.BROCADE-MAPS-MIB:0x3

After adding value "all", i was able to restore switch config.

Thank you again,

Sanjeev
