I am working with HP Storage Management Software, Let me know whether bfa.conf file will create while installing HBA driver and what is its role ?

Yes when you install the drivers the bfa.conf file will be created.

This is a configuration file referred to:

You can configure

authorization algorithm like MD5,SHA1

authorization policy

Adapter name

TOV

Port Name

Port Max Frame Size

We use bcu command to change the parameters in bfa.conf file

Like the parameters listed above there are some other specific parameters that you can configure.
